Jeff P. Heaton, MD, FAAP

Jeff P. Heaton, MD, FAAP grew up all around the country with a military father, settling in Lafayette, Indiana for high school where he graduated in 1991.  After graduating from high school, he stayed local and matriculated at Purdue University where he earned his undergraduate degree graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 1996.  While in college, Dr. Heaton worked as a research assistant and upon graduation, he worked as a part time pharmacist while completing his medical degree at the Indiana University School of Medicine.  He earned his MD, graduating with honors in 2000.  Dr. Heaton then moved to Cincinnati to do his pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children's completing the program in 2003.  

Immediately upon graduating, Dr. Heaton joined ESD Pediatric Group.  Dr. Heaton currently serves as the Medical Director of the practice and serves on the board of Tri-State PHO and River Valley Pediatricians.  He is passionate about evidence-based high-quality care.

Dr. Heaton is married to his wife Dawn and they have 3 children, Kyle, Kelsey and Blake.  Both Kyle and Kelsey are now current students at Purdue.  In his spare time, Dr. Heaton enjoys travel, spending time at his lake house, and a wide array of activities with his family and friends.  He is an avid sports fan, coach and participant.  He is a die-hard supporter of the Reds, Bengals and Purdue.

Dr. Heaton sees patients at both the Milford and Hyde Park Offices.  He is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
