Nurse Practitioner Kelly Oakes is a Cincinnati native. She was a scholar student at Xavier University and completed her in B.S. degree in 2000. Thereafter, she began her nursing education at the University of Cincinnati. Kelly completed her B.S.N. via the accelerated program in 2002. She worked at Cincinnati Children’s hospital for 17 years. She completed her M.S.N. in 2007 and is certified by the ANCC. Kelly became the first nurse practitioner to join ESD in 2007. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She lives in Wyoming with her husband, Tim, stepson Tyler and their 3 dogs.
