Erica Walters, MD FAAP

Dr. Walters grew up in Hayward, Wisconsin. After graduating as salutatorian from Hayward High School in 2009, she attended University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a music minor in 2013.  She completed her medical education at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, WI in 2017. She then moved to Ohio to join the pediatric residency program at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, graduating in June 2020. During residency, Dr. Walters was actively involved in and served as resident leader for the Primary Care Pathway, which emphasizes knowledge and skills necessary for success as a primary care pediatrician. After completing residency, she joined the ESD Pediatric Group. Dr. Walters enjoys caring for children from birth through adolescence, helping parents navigate the challenges each age has to offer. She has a particular interest in breastfeeding medicine. 


Dr. Walters lives in Madisonville with her husband and their two golden retrievers, Charlie and Lucy. In her spare time she enjoys exploring all of Cincinnati’s parks and hiking trails with her dogs, baking (especially sourdough bread), and spending time with family and friends.
